At Substainify Store, we believe every order deserves mindful handling from start to finish. Our shipping process is guided by care, transparency, and sustainability. This policy outlines how and when we ship orders, including processing times, delivery methods, carriers, and what to do if your order doesn’t arrive. It is part of our Terms and Conditions and applies to all purchases made with Substainify Store.

1. Processing & Shipping Methods
Each Substainify Store order is made to order or hand-packed with care. Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days (excluding weekends and U.S. holidays), though handmade or small-batch items may require additional time for curing or preparation. During peak or holiday seasons, processing may extend by 3–5 extra business days due to carrier volume or supply delays.
Some products may display special fulfillment notices on their product pages when processing times differ from our standard estimates. These notices always take priority and reflect the most accurate timeframe for your specific item.
Handmade items and print-on-demand products may ship separately, depending on their fulfillment location. You’ll receive a tracking email for every parcel once it ships. We primarily use USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground for all U.S. orders, and in some cases, a trusted fulfillment partner may ship on our behalf.
2. Shipping Rates
- Orders under $100 ship at a flat rate of $9.95.
- Orders $100+ (before tax) ship free.
- Free shipping applies to orders of $100 or more before discounts, rewards, or taxes are applied.
- Special Offer (October 2025): Soft Carry Mesh Tote ships free, no minimum required.
Note: Shipping rates reflect average carrier and fulfillment costs. These rates may adjust periodically to account for carrier fee changes.
3. Split Shipments
Some orders may ship in separate packages depending on item type and fulfillment location. For example, a hand-prepared item like aromatherapy mist may ship separately from an on-demand product like a tee or tote. Separate tracking emails will be sent for each package. We'll always include tracking for each parcel so you can follow every step of your order.
4. Worry-Free Delivery (Optional)
Toggle Worry-Free Delivery at checkout to insure your order against loss, theft, or damage.
- Claims are filed through our Resolution Center and usually approved within 24 hours.
- If you decline Worry-Free Delivery, any replacements or refunds may be discretionary and can include a deductible of up to 50%.
Customers who decline Worry-Free Delivery accept responsibility for any loss, theft, or non-delivery once the carrier marks the item as delivered.
5. Shipping Regions
We currently ship only within the contiguous United States.
We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, P.O. boxes, or international destinations.
6. Change of Address Policy
- If you need to update your shipping address, email [email protected] immediately.
- Address changes after shipment may not be possible and may require cancellation and re-ordering.
- Orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer are not eligible for free replacement.
7. Delayed or Missing Orders
- If your package is more than 5 business days past the estimated delivery date, check the tracking information and contact the carrier.
- Then email [email protected] within 30 days of shipment. Claims beyond 30 days cannot be honored.
If marked delivered but not received:
- Check with neighbors and request GPS proof from the carrier.
- Email us to open a claim.

With Worry-Free Delivery, most claims are approved quickly. If you decline, we’ll still review your case with care, but replacements or refunds may be limited and subject to partial coverage.
8. Damaged Shipments
- Email clear photos of the item and packaging within 7 days of delivery.
- Approved claims will receive a replacement or refund.
- We cover return shipping on damaged items.
9. Incorrect Addresses & Return-to-Sender Parcels
- Undeliverable parcels are held for 14 days.
- They can be reshipped once after new postage is paid.
- After 14 days without response, items may be donated or discarded without refund.
- A $4 late handling or disposal fee may apply.
10. Holiday, Peak-Season & Force Majeure Delays
The holiday season is our busiest time of year, and we encourage you to shop early to ensure your gifts and calm packages arrive on time. Orders placed after the cutoff dates below may arrive after December 25.
Recommended Order Deadlines
• Apparel, mugs, and tote bags: Order by December 5, 2025
• Handmade and small-batch aromatherapy items: Order by December 10, 2025
• Digital products and gift codes: Delivered instantly at any time
During November and December, please allow an extra 3–5 business days for processing and carrier networks. Severe weather, natural disasters, or strikes may extend delivery times beyond our control.
We’ll always process your order as quickly as possible and send tracking updates by email once it ships. For peace of mind, we recommend adding Worry-Free Delivery at checkout to protect against seasonal delays or damage.
If you’re sending a gift, you can add a note at checkout. Handmade items will be wrapped with care and shipped without pricing information. For apparel or on-demand products, gift notes aren’t included in packaging, but no prices are ever shown on packing slips.
Receipts & Gift Orders
All Substainify Store receipts are delivered digitally by email at the time of purchase. We do not include printed invoices in any shipment to reduce paper waste and protect gift privacy. Your order confirmation email serves as your official proof of purchase and can be re-sent upon request.
11. U.S. Customs & International Fulfillment
Beginning August 29, 2025, U.S. Customs has suspended the de minimis duty-free threshold. While most Substainify Store orders are produced and shipped from our U.S. facilities, certain items may be fulfilled abroad. For those select products:
- Our partners are implementing Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) solutions to ensure duties are settled in advance, reducing risk of disruption.
- Orders may experience longer transit times while carriers adapt to the new Customs procedures.
- There will be no additional costs for you as our fulfillment partners handle your duties.
We are closely monitoring this transition and will notify you directly should your order be affected. Our priority is to maintain smooth delivery while remaining transparent about global shipping developments beyond our control.
12. Pre-Orders & Backorders
- Pre-order items will list expected ship dates on the product page.
- If an item becomes unexpectedly backordered, we’ll notify you by email with the option to wait, swap, or cancel.
13. Returns & Shipping Refunds
- Shipping fees are non-refundable unless Substainify Store is at fault.
- Expedited shipping fees (if offered) are never refundable.
